Graduated from ICN and ESSEC schools, I started my career in 1984 at Sligos, then the leading payment services provider, as a sales executive in charge of business development in Southern European countries. I then worked in other areas (HR consulting ; e-business at Atos) in France and abroad (country manager, BU director, international director…) before returning to payments in 2004 at the creation of Worldline within Atos (group where I have remained 16 years).
Since 2008, I have been managing consulting firms focused on cards and innovative payments. Over the years, I have been able to observe how much the payments market has changed in all latitudes (from emerging to more developed countries), even if the landscape can show in parallel some relative inertia and strong acceleration according to geographies and usages.
It is obvious to all of us now that we have entered a new era, more competitive, uncertain and convulsive than ever, where all possibilities are allowed for the most intrepid, astute or innovative contenders. In this permanent tumult, Payment furthermore rhymes with Digital, Fintech, Data, Cross-channel, Blockchain, Instantaneity, Mobile, UX …
Therefore, all stakeholders are required to achieve economies of scale, to apply new defensive or offensive models, to offer more added value or differentiation in order to create new sources of growth. It is also important to interpret disruptions well, to continually enrich one’s services and platforms, to build alliances, and sometimes to take bets… On our side, according to our various assignments, our consultants are passionate and committed alongside our customers to helping them face these challenges and to earning their trust every day.
